The smell is so tropical and pretty. I actually bought one to stick in my washroom closet just to use as a scent booster. It is good quality soap, and a decent size. It lasts a long time. Several months it lasts even with daily use. Very hard soap. It cleans well. Gives a good clean feel. Can’t go wrong (the price is a bit steep so I won’t be purchasing often, only a once in a blue moon thing.
Honeymooned in Bora Bora at the original exclusive over-the-water bungalow resort 25+ years ago. These products were in the hut. I bought the oil and soaps and all I could find there. This soap smells exactly the same. Husband ran off, but I still have this soap lol.
I love this soap, discovered it in Tahiti and always look for it. Iherb has one of the best prices. It's base is coconut oil so it's gentle on dry skin. Scent is exactly like being on a beach on Tahiti. I use the oils from the same company. Great stuff.
This was a good find as the quality, ingredient, taste, use, size, package and composition was on point. I was very satisfied with this purchase as the scent was beautiful and romantic. It was so easy to use and made the bathroom smell amazing. I was relaxed from the epsom salts and essential oils.
If you are into the tropical, it doesn't get more tropical than products from Tahiti. I bought this because I miss the smell of tiare (gardenia). Great in the shower. I love a creamy soap. I buy this one about one a year now when I'm missing island life in the Pacific. Good value.
I wish the scent was a bit stronger, but the quality of the soap was still good for my dry sensitive skin. It was very gentle and lathered pretty well. I didn’t really need lotion afterward because my skin felt smooth. I would say those with dry skin would benefit from it.
To be honest, I have never actually used this soap in the bath. I love the scent of the oil and use that a lot, so I got this soap to scent my dresser drawers. It's a bit of a mild scent for that purpose - it doesn't emit a strong smell - but that's the way I like it. Good for that purpose if anyone is interested in using it that way!
I add little chia seed with cornflakes or raw oats and soak with milk. They don't have any special taste but can make you feel full.
Its winter time and I am always dreaming of living in the islands! Soap smell great and washed well. I will be buying more soon.
