It’s excellent supplement. I’m using to increase the iron. It is really good. Quality is good. The size is very good compared with the price. There is no taste because it is soft gel. I like the product. I take one dosage per day. It is very light in my stomach. I don’t get bloating like other products.
Compared to other iron formulas that I’ve tried, this one is really very gentle. I take it with meal and this way it doesn’t upset my stomach at all. I’m iron deficient, so I have to take 4 capsules a day. But if you have not consulted a physician, do not take more than 1 capsule a day, in order not to overdose. On the whole, I highly recommend this product and will definitely order more.
I've been taking this vitamin for a few weeks and I have to say, I'm very impressed by the results. It has boosted my immunity and made me feel much better in general. It's a great "pick-me-up" supplement that I take when I need an energy boost or to feel healthy.
Choose this product due to search for the best iron supplements available and found this in iHerb so try for the first time. So far taken for 3 days now and no abdominal pain as iron supplement do. Hope it will help to increase my iron level in my blood. Only to check on the next blood test so i hv to continue to take this supplement for the next 5 months.
I don't eat meat for over 5 years, plus i have heavy periods, so my iron levels were critical. I was very dizzy. My doctor prescribed me some iron, but i had stomach aches from it and was feeling bad. Until i found the Thorne Iron!!! No side effects, I take it in the morning after breakfast, with Vitamin C, feeling so much better. Generally Thorne is a synonym of quality supplements for me.
Holy grail of iron supplements. I get more energy taking this and I feel fine, without constipation or stomach ache. Note: I notice the pills go dark very quickly (oxidate?) when left out in the air or just in the bottle at room temperature. I have heard nothing about what this is or whether it is bad. But I keep the bottle in the fridge now and the darkening stopped.
I had very low iron levels and was told I was anemic. I was told to take iron pills. I bought this iron supplement because it is easy to absorb and Thorne is a great brand. I took two capsules once a day and after 4 weeks my iron levels came back normal. I felt more energetic, my dizziness and my shortness of breath went away. My dr was amazed. He asked me what I took. I continue to take one capsule once a day for my anemia.
I had iron deficiency and low hemoglobin levels during my pregnancy and had been taking several iron supplements but nothing worked until I tried this in my last trimester! Raised my levels in two weeks. Didn’t experience any stomach symptoms or bad after taste, but I did have constipation, although I can’t say whether it was from the pregnancy or this because I had this issue on and off through out my pregnancy. I took one pill everyday.
I am really happy with a quality of this product. Small capsules which are easy to swallow. I took this iron during all my pregnancy because of low iron level in my blood. My ferritin level increased from 14 to 33 for 2 months of taking this supplement. I combined this iron with vitamin C, folic acid and B12.
I bought these pills because my ferritin was too low after being an ex-Division 1 athlete for four years. My body has a harder time retaining iron than most because I was not seeing the normal increase in my ferritin levels after taking normal iron pills, so I decided to switch this up a notch. I'm going to be taking a blood test in the next few days, and very excited to see if there are positive results from the new iron pills! Update: My ferritin levels increased from 15mg to 73mg in just five months! These are a lifesaver for anyone worrying about their iron levels.
