I first used Thorne's "UltraClear" product in the 1990s and onward as part of an extended naturopathic program to detox and restore after industrial chemical injury. That product was developed based on well designed programs of research, so my healing team was very positive about its potential for helping me clear and heal...which at the time seemed a remote possibility. After healing, and attaining a level of health and energy I literally had never before experienced, I found UltraClear still wonderful for regular liver/detox support, esp. for someone who has a hard time swallowing pills/capsules. The flavor of MediClear is as I remember UltraClear: pleasant and the texture not bad. It easily mixes up in liquid. I have used half the standard dose with good results on a maintenance basis, but the full dose for annual detox/cleanse. A clean/healthy liver is the best thing you can have for both physical and mental balance. The price tag of MediClear looks stiff, but considering its contents and the research effort Thorne puts into its products, it's a very reasonably priced suite of nutrients.
This is a quality product which includes excellent ingredients. It contains more protein, fewer carbohydrates, more related detox cofactors, and more special nutrients than many other detoxification protein powders on the market. Net weight is 865g in the container. The liver needs essential nutrient cofactors to efficiently accomplish its primary task of detoxification. MediClear combines essential nutrient cofactors and specific liver-supportive botanicals, such as green tea and milk thistle, with low-allergenicity protein and the minerals necessary to support the liver's detoxification processes.
Have been using this supplemental protein for almost 20 yrs. The quality and the nutritional profile is still unsurpassed. I’ve had trouble with whey, soy and even other plant based proteins. This is east on the tummy, is even fine mixed with just water and dissolves beautifully. It does have the slightest grit but I’m not bothered at all and you won’t taste or feel that when mixing into a smoothie with fruit or greens. I’m a the biggest of fans. Thorne is a very, very good company and their other supplements are terrific as well. Thank you, thank you!!!

I much prefer getting my vitamins in a shake rather than a fist full of pills twice a day. Plus, I know that I'm getting all of my bases covered for my diet preferences! It has a typically chalky taste, but it isn't offensive and is easily accommodated with some hot cocoa mix and coffee, or other fruit/veg mixes that you might like.
Excellent quality. Decent price for the size. Good ingredients. Seems to be having a positive effect on slowly detoxing my liver. I would buy it again.
I bought this 3 times to help clear some digestive issues. I felt good after taking it and so I think it benefit me. It takes some time to see the effect so need to be patient.
