I first heard about selenium not from a doctor, but from a friend—she works as a cosmetologist and always says that beautiful skin starts with a balance of micronutrients, not just a bottle. Back then, I was just beginning to understand that fatigue and dull skin aren't just a sign of age, but a signal that the body is lacking something. I started reading and learned that selenium is a powerful antioxidant that supports the thyroid, immune system, and skin. I started looking for a supplement and came across Source Naturals—a familiar brand; I'd bought zinc and magnesium from them before, and everything was high quality. The tablets are small, and I take them after breakfast. At first, I thought it was just a "tick box," but after about a month, I noticed that my morning fatigue had vanished—I woke up easier, without that groggy feeling. My skin became smoother, my nails stopped crumbling, and my hair fell out less. And most importantly, my mood and sleep returned to normal, as if my body was no longer in "survival mode."

Selenium is necessary: to strengthen the immune system; for the normal formation of thyroid hormones;

Very high quality selenium for your money! Basic ingredients, good composition, nothing extra. Beautiful and convenient packaging, normal size tablets (not painful to swallow). The doctor prescribed me selenium because of problems with the thyroid gland, I took a course in combination with vitamin D and my tests improved, so I noticed the benefits of this selenium! They tasted a little strange to me, or rather they had a specific smell, but overall not critical

selenium

Our whole family takes it for immunity and thyroid support. It's especially important that it's in the L-selenocysteine form—it's absorbed better than standard selenium. The tablets are small and convenient. Our energy has improved, our hair loss has decreased, and our skin has cleared up. The dosage and price are excellent.

Good Selenium Supplement
Source Naturals provides a good, organically bound form of selenium. More specifically, the selenium-the only functional ingredient- is derived from yeast, and is good quality. I like that the product contains 200 mcg of selenium per tablet, and the tablets are small. This is a great alternative to the common methionine form of selenium.

If you have joint problems, the first thing you should start with is a strict elimination diet – eliminating lectins, lactose, casein, and any form of sugar for 9-12 months. Also, consider taking dietary supplements in the following areas: anti-inflammatory drugs and supplements that compensate for deficiencies that lead to joint problems. These include: fulvic and humic minerals, royal jelly, digestive and proteolytic enzymes, lecithin, carnitine, collagen, glucosamine/chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, silicon, MSM, selenium, vitamin C, magnesium, vitamin D and K2, omega-3, borage oil, boswellia and curcumin, B complexes, and manganese.
